如專輯名帶給幾首傳統聖誕歌曲另一種滄桑及陰鬱的味道，
全輯 Lo-Fi 製作聽起來更飽經風霜。
用他特有的火燒嗓翻唱這首美國 psychedelic rock 先驅 Roky Erickson (註2) 的作品
"Burn the Flames"，再適合不過了。

Burn the Flames 收錄於 1981 年他個人的經典專輯《The Evil One》，
專輯的歌詞可以感受到強烈的惡魔意象與詭譎氣氛。

Roky Erickson 因為藥物濫用罹患精神分裂症，一直覺得自己是外星人受到地球人的排擠
及攻擊而隱居躲避這個世界，接受治療康復後才再度出來面對人群。
